Its official, Isaac is a FIRST grader. The last day of Kindergarten was fun filled, with a field trip to Robbins Island. All 7 Roosevelt Kinder classes together. Beach play, playground play, picnic, and a scavenger hunt walk. Fun in the sun!
Goodbye Kindergarten and Goodbye Mrs. Brown. Mrs Brown is moving on, to Kennedy (grade 5).
Its crazy how far the kids have come and grew up since Sept. Can't pass off anything, even spelling out words.
Isaac wanted to give Mrs Brown a gift. He got her a bracelet. It reminds me of the bracelets that they made in class which a color of a bead means something. So it was perfect. It also came with a poem. Here what it said...
As YELLOW as the sunshine, you welcomed us one-by-one. You were always ready and eager to have a new day of fun.
PURPLE is for the patience you have shown throughout the year, helping us through our problems and making them all so CLEAR.
The color RED represents the class and all the friends weve made, and GREEN is for the color as we move up to the next grade.
BLUE is for how we feel knowing the year must end, we wish you a happy summer and well wishes we do send.
There was one more poem that could go with it but it didn't come with the one we bought. I did included it, writing it on a piece of paper. Here is what that one said....
This color bracelet is made just for you, to be a reminder of the things you do.
GREEN is for the inspiration you give each day.
PURPLE is your patience in showing the way.
BLUE is for your warmth and your caring style.
YELLOW is for the way that you always smile.
RED is for the lives that you will tough this year.
You are a very special teacher that much is CLEAR.
