We have a Tooth!
Finally after months and months of agonizing teething pain, a tooth finally poked through today. Such a wonderful surprise. Her bottom left. And it only took 7 months. The boys got theirs at 4 months so this waiting is a new thing. By 7 months the boys would have had their mouths full of those. Im sad to see that gummy grin gone, but happy that she has finally moved on.

Merry Christmas - 2008

This year we celebrated Christmas Eve on the Eichhorst side. The boys (Kianna, not so, since she is so young, at 7 months of age) were anxious to open presents and wait for Santa to come later that night. After the festivities we made cookies for Santa (also left milk for him) at home and opened presents from us.
Christmas Day was spent here at home here. Woke up to more presents that Santa and us left and saw that the cookies were ate and the milk was almost gone, which had a Thank You note from Santa next to it. G-ma/pa Radabaugh came over for a bit. The kids opened a couple more presents. The rest of the day was spent playing with new toys.
Since December 1st we made a count down chain to Santa. Finally there was 1 link left, and now there is none. Santa came and gone, resting up for next year.

Kianna is 6 months old!

This past November 25th, Kianna turned 6 months. WoW, I know...fast. Time goes by faster after each kid. So no blinking.
For those who don't know and are wondering about the cord shown in the blanket and her arm looking thick, Kianna was born with very low blood sugar. She was quite limp and not responding like they wanted her to right after birth and was taken to the NICU for 24 hours. The cord was also wrapped around her neck tight (which I wasn't surprised since she was a very active baby). The cord also had a cyst full of clear fluid on it, which also was a scary thing to know. Things could have ended up badly/tragically but thankfully it didn't. So it was very tense for a while but she rebounded quick and well. She let the nurses know that she was fine and wanted to be out of the NICU by pulling out her IV.
She loves to stand, sit, and crawl. She is very mobile and loves to get into everything. Only surprising thing, she has NO teeth. She has been teething forever tho. The boys would have already had half of their mouths full of teeth by now. Miss K is taking her time.

Carson's Allergist Appt-Edited
We found out what he is allergic too. Cats, Dogs, Grass, and Mold. Also Tree. And with him being possible asthmatic too the allergist highly recommends NO pets after Felix. Of course they say that we should get rid of the cat but he understands that people can't just let go of pets since they ARE part of families. So Carson gets very limited time with him and NO holding. Scary thing is that I may be forming an allergy to cats since I found out that I get breakouts and burning sensation after messing around with Felix. Its kinda sad since cats are my favorite animal and Ive had cats in my life since I was born. Itll feel strange without having a cat in the house after Felix.
Grass, same thing. He can walk on it but not stand or sit for long periods in it. And absolutely no rolling on it. No treking thru long grass either.
Mold, self explanitory.
Tree, self explanitory.
Edited to add.....Ill take all of these allergies over any food type allergies anyday.
This appt was only for allergies. We need to talk to our dr to see what age is best to test for asthma. But we all highly think he is asthmatic (its a no brainer), but just need to give a confirmation on it.

Carson is home
This evening Carson got discharged. He is HAPPY to be home, and Isaac is HAPPY to have him back home too. If it wasn't for a nap he had this afternoon, chances are, we would still be in the hospital since he needed to pass the resting oxygen level before being discharged. So thankfully he passed it and he got to come home.
On a side note, Brandon said we should reserve a room next year around this time, since we most likely will be there again. 2 Years in a row, at almost the same date, lets make it 3.
Ironic part of all of this....a helicopter came. Each time we are in the hospital for something, a helicopter comes. When I had Carson, one came. Last year when Carson was at the hospital, one came. When I had Kianna, one came. And today, one came. Too bad I can't remember if one came when I had Isaac. I had him in the old part which is now a parking lot.

Carson Hospitalized
Almost a year to date from the last time, Carson has been hospitalized again. Wheezing and difficulties breathing...started with a cold like usual. Thankfully no IV's this time. Just hooked up to the Oxygen and the oxygen level reader thingie....and he does NOT like it, but manages. I stayed with Carson last night, which was long and tiresome between them coming in checking on him, them doing Neb treatments, and the oxygen reader beeping when it goes below a certain level (went down to 86 overnight, EEK) I only got 1 maybe 2 hours of sleep. Brandon is staying with him this afternoon/tonight/overnight since Im getting the kids cold (dont want him to get sicker), Im wiped out, and need a break from the place. Hoping tomorrow he gets to come home. Isaac misses him.
Carson needs to prove himself before he gets to go. Crossing my fingers for a good night.

Our new nephew....Owen Robert

Brandon's brother and his wife welcomed their second child, A BOY!!!!, into the world last week. Owen Robert was born Thursday, October 16th, at 5:35pm. He weighed 7lbs 6oz and was 21 inches long.
Those pictures were taken when he was about an hour old. And as I was sitting there looking at Owen and Kianna, I was amazed to see what 4 months can do. Its mind blowing when you have a newborn and a 4 month old present to actually see how much they do change in that short of time.
Aunt/Uncle status update....So far we have a total of 2 nephews (Chase and Owen) and 1 niece (Ella).

Kianna's 4 month appt
Miss Kianna had her 4 month appt today. She is my slender but LOOOOOOOONG baby girl. She weighs a puny 13lbs 12oz but is an astounding 27 inches in length. She is a happy go lucky girl (smiling and babbling, sometimes giggling, to the dr while he is checking her out) until shot time. She got 3 shots, one of which was a combo. We opt out of the Rotavirus vaccine since she got a weird reaction to it last time. Poor girl suffered for so long (still does at times-long story)...so NEVER again with that vaccine.
She had her first taste of rice cereal the other day. She liked it, but then again, she was very hungry at the time and was whining because the spoons don't handle much like the bottles do.
By the way, we got Kianna a new Exersaucer. It puts the old ones to shame, making the old ones boring.

Exersaucer Time

We brought the Exersaucer up from storage for Miss K the other night, just to see how well she does in it. It scared her at first since it was a little overwhelming with all of the stuff it has on it AND with her big brothers goofing around with it at the same time. She did well in it tho.
By the way...I saw an Exersaucer at Target the other day that I REALLY want to get. Looks soooooo much fun. Wonder if I can talk Brandon into getting it.

Baptism Pictures and 4 Months Old

Thought youd like some Baptism Pictures. She wore the same dress as I wore at my Baptism. Cute isn't she ;)
Also, 4 months have passed....Miss Kianna is 4 months old!!!!!! How did THAT happen. She doesn't have her appt until the beginning of October. She is getting big, not on the weight side, but height. She is sure TALL! Im interested to know her stats, especially the height. Recent milestones met...TEETHING, ugh, and grabbing her toes (and of course everything else).

Baptism Saturday
On Saturday, Sept 20th, we had Kianna's Baptism. All Sundays were full so we opted for a Saturday evening one, in the church chapel. A nice, small, quiet, private service. There was another baby (a boy) getting Baptized too and guess who it was.....our NEIGHBORS down the street. Who would have thought. Out of how many babies get Baptized at the church, who would think 2 neightbors would be paired up for that same day.
Pictures to come later.
