Hi, my name is Rachel Eichhorst and am a proud wife to a Cancer Survivor (November 11th, 2009 - February 18th, 2010).
Yes, that is correct, Brandon is Cancer Free! We got the news yesterday and have been soaking it all in since then. The Bloodwork was completely normal and the CT scan showed absolutely nothing. OMG it feels great...YAY YAY YAY, WooHOO (*fist pumps*)!!! We can finally put this behind us, chapter closed, and move on, back to our normal lives that we left abruptly, unexpectedly. (*HAPPY TEARS*) Never underestimate the power of prayer and the support system around you. We definately couldn't have made it without it.
Sorry to those who wanted to know THAT day and for us ignoring the phone calls. We wanted to have this day alone together, just the 5 of us, living it in first. Its been a hard, rough and tough 3 to 4 months and we decided not to tell that day, even if it came out to be bad news.
SACRIFICED and DEFEATED.
