Today we had Kianna's ENT appt to see if she needs tubes...and yes she does. In all cases, tubes aren't necessary but recommended for some. And for Kianna's sake they ARE recommended since she has had ear infection after ear infection (non-stop) since Sept/Oct. She just got over yet another infact. Amoxicillian doesn't touch them, Cefdinir gave her hives and didn't work well at all, so the last med that they give before shots is what worked so far...Augmentin. But its not good giving her med after med, so we decided to have tubes put in to help with her drainage problem. Plus itll save us $ and trips to the drs. The date of it is February 5th.
Good thing is that she passed her hearing test and a test seeing if her ear drug moves/vibrates right. And the best of all...NO CRIES from Kianna during any of it. Love and am proud of my big girl!

Cycle #3, Week 1 - Postponed
Yesterday would have marked the start of Brandon's 3rd and final *hopefully* cycle but it has been postponed. His blood levels were low like last time so they are having him skip this week. The start of it will be next week now.
Happy 4th Birthday, Carson!
Another year has passed....Carson is now 4. This is mindboggling since Isaac was 4 when Kianna was born. And Carson was 2 when Kianna was born and this spring Kianna will be 2. She will be staying 2 forever *good luck, I know*. I have no idea where those 2 years went.
He requested a cake with purple frosting with red lettering, and Applebees for dinner....so that is what he got. He also wore his favorite top, a lime green shirt. What I didn't expect when he came out all dressed was his khaki pants. I was waiting for something comfy and not matching. He is full of surprises. When I saw that he was so handsome looking, I decided to cut out a number 4 and took some pictures of him with the numer 4. I got a few good ones.
Since he is now 4, he can play T-Ball this summer. And that means he needs a glove and a T-ball bat. So he got a new bat (lighter and shorter than Isaac's) and a more sturdy and heavy T-ball set up. The glove we got is way to big for him so that will be part of Isaac's birthday present next month. So Isaac will give Carson his old one, which is still good. Used, the better. And also since he is 4, he can now have 2 Flintsones sour gummy vitamins, instead of one. The boys call them sour candy....and truth to be told, they do taste like candy.
The day was nice since Isaac was home from school (MLK Day/Teachers inservice) and Brandon had his appts today, which he gets home early. Fun family day.

Successful Arrival by Tooth Fairy
Isaac woke up and immediately looked underneith his pillow and yelled "DAD DAD DAD, come look"! There layed a fancy glitter dusted envelope (not your ordinary envelope, a thick pearl lined one...pearl lined meaning pearl in color and not pearls themselves) with his name beautifully written on it. Inside was glitter dusted money. And the Tooth Fairy isn't cheap these days. He has been holding that money all day long and showing off his new open area, smiling constantly. Excited to show Mrs Brown, his kindergarten teacher, and his friends it Tuesday. And surprisingly, we found out that the tooth next to it, front left, is loose too. I'll say end of February beginning of March, but who knows, since theres a tooth missing next to it now.
Now Carson wants the Tooth Fairy to come and visit him overnight and says his teeth are loose, LOL. No such luck Punks but luckily its his birthday coming up Monday and had mail (cards) with money in it today.

Early Childhood Screening
Last Friday Carson had his Early Childhood Screening done. Its the one that needs to be done before you enter Kindergarten. My Smarty-pants passed it with flying colors. More than what they expect. We may have a genius on our hands (although at times Id like to differ). So proud of my Carson!
Also as I was cleaning and orgainizing the kids' dresser drawers I can upon something that I couldn't believe....Isaac was 4 when Kianna was born. In 6 days, Carson will be 4. And Carson was 2 when Kianna was born and now Kianna is turning 2 this spring. Where in the world did the 2 years time go. Kianna will be staying 2 F-O-R-E-V-E-R! *puts her foot down* Although Brandon chuckled and said Good luck with that.

Cycle #2 - COMPLETE
Cycle #1 - Done
Cycle #2 - Done
We are 2/3rds done. Just one cycle left...next week! The end is in sight...we can almost grab it. With God's help, we CAN! We CAN defeat. And when we do, we can look back and leave that memory in the past and concentrate what we have to enjoy in the present and future...normally.
